How to remove the "Outlook E-Mail" account?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello,

I was doing some testing with synchronizing Exchange 2003 and Pocket Outlook today. During the configuration and setup, an account was created messaging called "Outlook E-Mail". Well, the test was successful and I was able to sync over http and retrieve my mail and send it, as well as download attachments.

Now, that it's finished, I want remove the "Outlook E-Mail" account and I can't. I have remove the inbox synch from Active sync, I have removed the partnership and created it from scratch. In fact I can do anything to this account. It is not listed in accounts so, I can't remove it.

Does anyone have information on removing this?

Not sure if you can because it is pre setup when you first get the PDA. It is the account that syncs with outlook and if it is deleted and the sync is still selected then I guess it makes serious problems.

If I was you I would leave AS do its own thing and anything connected to it (including the Outlook email account) well alone. It will be for your own good!!
My "My PDA" now updated with hints and tips including a ROM fix for the RX3700 series and installing Transport Tycoon onto your PDA.
