I don't think it was your post necessarily, but perhaps the raging old debate/argument that looked like was about to flare.

At least we don't all own Toshiba e740 handhelds. They have little hope of getting an upgrade and many of them seem to report continued problems with PPC2002!
Not that I delight in their misfortune, but I am pointing out that it could be worse.
BTW: I STILL don't believe a thing Dell puts out as fact... I WISH I could. Hopefully they will change my mind in the very near future? Please, Dell?

But at least Toshiba outrightly states that MM 2003 will not be available.
Dell just keep saying it is, then doesn't.

But Toshiba is saying that the e740 is not hardware capable of WM2003... and that bothers me because I do not think it is true. It is my guess that Toshiba is full of it also. :(

Yes... it is sad. However, they do trust our money easily enough!

Yeah that's what I was saying (got pulled)... Corporations like Microsoft/Dell give us an Update that is more like a bug fix than an upgrade (hardly any new features) and they want to charge us $30 bucks for it? Maybe that wouldn't be so bad, but then they fumble and bumble and seem to have some of the worst service I have seen in recent memory.

Your right James its more like a Bug Causer :D
But it has so little features its hardly worth calling an upgade. We get increased speed, some new options and wireless stuff, and Oh dont't forget Jawbreaker. Its not bad, but can you really justify charging for this (like you said PPC 2002 works fine, and if you don't have wireless then its just eh)

Hey James,
How about breaking out the old Jolly Roger or maybe the Krusty avatar? I miss Krusty.
