Browsers not working

I have been having issues with my WIFI working on my 4700. My PIE or NetFront will not connect and load pages when I am online. I know I am online becasue WeatherPanel Updates and so does PocketRSS. I tired hard reseting abd the browsers work. But I dont wnat to spend the next days installing and setting up apps.

Anyone know a workaround?

Hi Bump,

I dunno. It sounds like a conflict to me. How long have you had this problem? Anything suspicious installed around that time? To tell you the truth, much as I love Weather Panel, I finally removed it because I suspected it of conflicting with other software I was running; and I got rid of whatever RSS I was running (can't remember which) for the same reason. Out of cyriosity: if you temporarily disabled Weather Panel and PocketRSS, would the browser problem disappear?

Good luck.

Marc

I will give it a try. Did removing these apps fix this? I am not in dire need of a www browser but I would like to use it again once and a while when I need it.

Hi Bump,

Yeah. Removing those apps fixed "it," whatever it was. But they may have been colliding with some program I had installed. They may not be the source of your problem. But it's probably still worth trying removing them temporarily to see if that solves the problem.

Good luck.

Marc

I actually decided to just hard reset. I installed my usual except PocketRSS and WeatherPanel. (I am starting to really hate WP). I am trying PocketWeather since I can trial that again. I made a backup so that I can restore if the issue comes up again.

Thanx Marc.
