Software for win mobile 2003

New to Ipac's

Have downloaded a lot of software for my Ipac but when I came to install it says the programs are for an eariler veeesion of windows. I thought the latter version would cover the earlier produced programs, like other types of windows do.

Also is there a way to run programs from the SD card as machine memory is limited

The "software is made for earlier version ..." message is normal. All my programs have this message popped up upon installation, yet I had no problem running them whatsoever. I read something on the net about this, and apparently, it's a harmless bug from Microsoft, at least that what I think I've read. This message also popped up when I installed programs that I myself created for my iPAQ.

As for running programs from SD card instead of machine memory, do you mean installing programs to SD card? As far as I know, there are 2 ways to do this:
1) Run the *.exe file from Windows and "ActiveSync" it to your SD card upon installation.
2) - Download "CabInstl" to your iPAQ from
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/pocketpc/cabinst.html and run it.
- Associate all *.cab files to this program so whenever you click on a *.cab file in your iPAQ, it launches this program and ask you for the installation folder.

However, if you are inferring as "running programs in your SD card" rather than "loading the program from SD card to RAM", then I believe that's beyond anyone's control as any program should run in the RAM, either the complete program or partially loaded as necessary.
