Dell has given me a lot of time to contemplate the WM2k3 upgrade and here's what I'm thinking:

Cancel my upgrade order and stick with PPC2k2. I haven't even upgraded beyond A02.

I am very happy with my current setup and am not sure there are enough improvements and additions to make it work the upgrade (especially with all the hoopla about speed and other hidden bugs that come with WM2k3 at no extra charge)...

What about you?

Sounds like you are perfectly content with what you have. Consider yourself lucky-unluck the hordes of us that just can't wait to get our grubby paws on the latest and greatest and then complain that it doesn't work as it should ;)

Well, except for having ordered the upgrade, I am in your shoes. I have the PPC2k2 with A02, (which I have been trying to upgrade to A03, but I haven't been able to download the upgrade for some reason) and since mine is running fine (knock on wood) I don't really need it.

I might cancel the order for 2003, had I ordered it, and reserve the option of re-ordering at a later date should the upgrade landscape looke more favorable. ....or as your second option in the survey suggests, Keep the order and upgrade at my leisure should the upgrade landscape looke more favorable:D

It has been pointed out to me since I ordered my AX after, what was it May 23rd? that I am elegible for a free upgrade to 2003. If that is in fact the case I am going to wait for that and hopefully by then all the "HOOPLA" will have settled out.

I hope that is all clear. If any of it needs clarifying I am at your disposal for clarification.

You could do what I did. Sell you current Ax when the next good deal from Dell comes along. You'll get a bug free (mostly) 2003 and still be in before the upgrade ships

If you have allready ordered it, why cancel it? It is running fine now and soon there will be programs that you will want that you can not run. That is why I am keeping my order. Just a suggestion.
