But the Window's start bar does that too... Control Panel (It doesn't have a Programs).
There isn't enough screen space to have it show all programs, so it is limited on the number it will display.

You can get programs such as WisBar and their Desktop product that will change it to show more programs.

Is that a question? Or are you saying WisBar won't do it?

I think WisBar is the program that makes it more like that. Give it a try.

This might be what you're looking for. It's a freeware program that looks like XP. This is from a thread on Brighthand.

Well, there isn't a way to get anything built in to do that.
You're only hope is to use WisBar, that eXperience, or something similar.

Actually, I remember reading something (never tried it) that said you can, up until WM5, put more shortcuts in your start menu than is normally allowed and it would scroll them.

Just use File Explorer and copy the shortcut of the program ( \Windows\Start Menu\Programs) to \Windows\Start Menu.

Why don't you set up your iTask button to do this for you? You can program the software you want to run and execute them from iTask. You can also close programs that you don't want to run. There's a bit of a learning curve, but it works pretty well. Just read the iTask help file to get started.

You can also put icons (even tabs of different set of icons) right on the today screen with such apps as cLaunch or iLauncher.
