Army Steve, are you talking about our problem with staying synched, or the off-topic question from bill1arch about his calendar?

Interesting... do you lose anything by deleting active sync ? I know my PIM stuff is in outlook, not activesync, but I think ActiveSync also saves stuff like your history of installed programs (so you can re-install or un-install at will), your partnership information (last time I needed to create a new partnership, I must have answered a dialog box wrong and I ended up with duplicates of all my contacts... don't wanna go through that again- annoyinggggggg!)... Let me know how that works, I don't want to try this if it doesn't even fix the problem!

Eagerly awaiting the results

Sorry Dishan1, I was talking about staying synched.

I have uninstalled and re-installed ActiveSync and so far, I have stayed connected for more than 15 minutes. Usually, I got disconnected within 15 seconds.

Looking good.

hmmm.... keep me posted.

Did you need to create a new partnership or anything?

Dishan1, yes I had to recreate a new partnership with the PDA when I re-installed ActiveSync. So, last night, I didn't have any problems staying connected. I'll see how things go tonight.

Sometimes I get kicked off for no reason too. I usually just remove the ax and then set it back in the cradle.

CMMS, I've done that as well, however, every time I would put the Ax back in the cradle, the connection wouldn't last more than 5-10 seconds. That's why I wanted to find out if there was other solutions. I found that by uninstalling and re-installing the software, the problem has gone away (so far).

So far so good with that re-install of activesync?
Think we may have a winner!

Ok, I'll try that one over the weekend
