hi there, I'm spanish and I just came back from my holidays. I have preordered WM2003 in spanish to dell, and with loads of problems it shipped in the end... and my surprise is that its the english version (LOL)... DELL... I will tell them tomorrow in the comercial hours so they can fix it and ship the right one, but I was wondering if I can cheat the rom somehow to flash it over my spanish PPC2002 and get a WM2003.

I have read on the forums that you cannot successfully write over a rom with another language.

I did it myself in the end... it was so easy problem to workaround, I just changed the regional settings in my axim to English (United States) and it worked... Incredible but true, no other tweaking was necessary :P

Thread closed. Sorry, but this thread is just leading to trouble, as there are people mentioning ways to "hack" the ROM upgrade once again. This is not allowed discussion on Aximsite.
