Bit of help here if you don't mind. Here's what I want to do woth my calendar:
1. Sync everything from my home pc Outlook as that has all the family related stuff on it. 2. Use my Axim to enter all my work appointments etc. I don't sync with anything at work. 3. I've set up a category called business and told Activesync I dont want to synchronise this with my home pc Outlook. 4. So I want to be left with all personal entries from my home pc on the Axim which will still retain the work entries. The work entries not to be put on my home pc. Try as I might I can't get this to work. Is it possible or am I being a complete doughnut?? Thanks for any help. stevie

It's not a fault - it's a feature of the software.....

The problem must lie in step 3. With the Ax attached, on the desktop open Activesync, Options, click on Calendar to highlight it, then Settings. Now click on the "synchronize only those appointments in the following selected categories" and set the category you want to sync, which should be "No category" and nothing else. Now, any appointment in any category will not be synced. This setting lets you leave most appointments uncategorized and only apply a category to those you don't want to sync to the home pc. I use this all the time to sync what I want and skip what I don't.

Well that didn't seem to work!
I created an entry for the following day - put it into the category Business. The I changed the ActiveSync settings to only sync No Category. When ActiveSync ran it sync'd the entry then merrily deleted it from the Axim! Any other thoughts?
