how do i remove unwanted databases?

i used a program called easy sms. it worked fine on my 2210 but not so good on my 4700 with a different phone. its the phone s problem not the program. any way i removed the program months ago but as i was trying to clean out unused files i found that if i looked at the ipaq via explore from active sync i see a "databases" folder that i cant see on the ipaq . trouble is there are 3 databases for this program, easy sms. how can i remove them? what utility do i need to do this? is it worth doing? would i be better off going for a hard reset and reinstalling all the progs i actually use? i have already cleaned out a fair bit of stuff from the registry via mobile registry editor.
any ideas or thoughts?

If you are sure that the files are associated with easy sms, and you can see them in explore, right click and delete. In file explorer on your device you may want to enable view all files and see if you can see these files via the device. It's like enabling hidden files on the PC

Databases can't be deleted from the desktop, nor are they viewable through file explorer on the PDA.
SKTools does have the ability to empty or delete database files. But be very careful, deleting the wrong file can render your device un-bootable.

Can you see the list of Databases?
If so, you need to tap & hold on the Database name you want to delete or empty, a list of available commands will appear.

It also could be that the trial version is restricted for this function.
