I used the aximsite made patch, before microsoft released one, and it did the same thing. I wonder if that one only fixed the spring.

Time to go find the microsoft one and some other old threads and see if i can get this fixed.

They couldnt just leave DST the same, no they had to wait until the digital age to change it.

Well, the time changed on my hw6925 last night too. But then I remembered that I had performed a clean reset several weeks ago, and forgot to reinstall the Microsoft patch. Install the patch and everything is working great again. See this article for links to the Microsoft patches and a refresher on how to apply them:

Do you think that a hard reset would have made me lose the data?

Wait a sec... I used a backup from before i got the patch installed. Ive did that hard reset back in like july and totally forgot about the patch not being installed until now. Hope that solves it.

Did you do the trick of changing your time to a different time zone and then changing it back to the correct time zone?

After each hard reset, you'll need to re-install the patch. Mine works correctly so far.

Same thing happened to my x5 (wm03). I had no hardresets since first spring patch and verified the patch from spring was installed still. I removed it this am and updated the patch from microsft using the two methods listed and also changing the timezone. My axim still did not get corrected. I synced with my PC because that had no problems and it corrected my issue for now (until Spring)

Same thing happened to me.

I did a few hard resets awhile ago and the MS DST 2007 update was the very first thing I always reinstalled. Even after the reinstall, I did the time trick to get my Outlook appointments corrected. But the darn thing changed the time and I had to change it back. Now I'm checking to see if my Outlook is okay with time...

I have x51v with WM5 A12 ROM.

I installed the patch via CAB file on 3/10 and did a hard reset on 4/22. I back up everynight so I did restore from a backup since the DST patch, I just assumed it would be alright. I guess I'll reinstall the patch and go from there.

Thanks!

I install the patch in March and didn't have a problem. But had to to a hard reset in the summer and I guess i didn't re-install the patch. So this morning, it was an hour early. Installed the patch and now all is good.

We need a a ROM upgrade (or equvalent) for the new DST so that the DST stays updated even after a hard-reset.
