I was one of the 'lucky' people that purchased an Axim with the A04 ROM. I returned it within the 30 day window and got my money back.

I just received an upgrade CD in the mail (San Francisco, CA) Has anyone else been sent an upgrade for an Axim they returned?

I returned it at the beginning of August and got my money back about a week later. I guess no-one told the guy who was mailing the updates. And I thought AOL CDs were useless...

Ditto, returned Aug 2nd, got the A04->A05 u/g CD Sep 6th. I promptly trashed it as it made my blood boil to recall the issues I had with the Ax, and the frustration I had with the lack of resolution and communication from Dell. I bottled out as the 30 day window approached, and went with a 2215. I won't bore you with how happy I am with it. BTW I am in Austin, about 3 miles from the Austin Dell facility where the Ax group is located.

Maybe you guys could work out a deal with those people still needing CDs and either not recieving them or instead recieving the wrong ones. :)

Dell is pushing its luck as we hear reports of German CDs and empty CD sleaves being shipped out. Not to mention at least one case were the delivery man came back and took someones CD away.

I returned my A04 Axim Advanced on July 29...and received a full refund a week later...

...yesterday I too received the upgrade CD.

I'm holding on to it... there is absolutely no license agreement included whatsoever... not even one of those sticky label seals. And it was a totally unsolicited mailing....

They must just like me. :D
