I use 2k3 on my x50v, don't really see a reason to upgrade, that and I don't have the money for it right now. :)

Yes, I am using wm5 and wm6 as well. My old ipaqs 4150 and 4350 are wm2003, axim x51v is wm5 and samsung BlackJack smartphone is running wm6.
I like wm2003 on my ipaqs. It is very fast and responsive. Feels better then wm5.

Still using wm2k3, I tried to upgrade my x50 to WM5, but it errors on my laptop, so I just reverted back to '03.

I'm still using it on my X30 - never saw a need to "upgrade" as it does (or did) everything I asked of it - I have an issue now as Vista seems to have screwed up the media player library :-( I now have an incompatible Media Library version! Not a happy bunny

I've used my Axim X50v longer and more often than anything else I've had, probably equal to my laptop. When you think about it, it was one amazing item that was and still is able to do a lot of things for free that the newer cell phone based products can do in their own way but you pay quite a lot for it per use or even in a high flat rate to a 'provider'. I'm happy enough with 2003SE but I think that it's unfortunate that the companies involved (mostly wireless providers) pressured manufacturers to change from the basic PDA to a cell phone with a tiny screen that can't really do what most older Axim's can do. There are some real nice new things out there now, and of course I'm interested, but give me my x50v and Skype any day. I have noticed that many web sites now kludge access to mobiles with separate sites so I don't have the access I would like to the 'real' site, but I do have a laptop for that. Free WiFi at Starbucks is just around the corner, so there's still good stuff happening, too.

I use my Axim x50v 2003SE pretty much every day of my life - in fact, I consulted my diary, updated the weather forecast and checked my finances using it this morning, before I even got out of bed!

I have an x51v too, which I snapped up as a backup when Dell announced they were being discontinued, but it's still the x50v that I use the most! If I'm honest, that's probably down to lack of time, rather than a preference for 2000SE over Winmobile 5, since I have the x50v set up just the way I want it and it works with very few problems. However I admit that the most recent software releases work best with Winmobile 5, so when I bought a game recently (Tradewinds 2 - fantastic!), I just installed it on the x51v.

Is this poll biased? Is everyone who uses 5, decided not to vote:p
