Mail room guy left an airborne package with my boss and it is the patch. Only file that differs from the patch I downloaded from Dell's FTP is the system update.exe which I imagine is the setup file that runs on the last hard reset.

What's funny is 10 minutes prior, I had got off the phone with a Dell CSR in India who told me the fix was being posted to the Dell website on 9/17/2003.

Thank god this 2 month ordeal is over and I will never have to deal with Dell again.

By the way, I'm in Atlanta and the Airborne Envelope was shipped from Fulfillment Center in Austin, TX. Also, the performance difference between A04 and A05 was even noticeable going through the initial setup screens.

Well I recieved my 2 CD upgrade this morning. Funny thing is when they called my two weeks ago I asked them to cancel my order. I'll have to wait to see if they charge my credit card. The order status website still says to expect the update mid-October. Now I have to decide keep my perfectly fine running PC 2002 or upgrade to WM 2003? I'll probably flip a coin.
