Placed order 6/26 for upgrade and Car-charger. Charger came ages ago.

Checked status yesterday (9/16) - NOTHING.

Today (9/17) shows shipped as of 9-15 1:53 pm. Encouraged, I clicked "track shipment" and it gave me the old airborne parcel# for the charger. Hey, at least I'm no longer looking at the same-old page. I'll believe it when I see it.

I also got the same info. I called Dell (3 times). After a little run-a-round, I found out that my upgrade still has not shipped. BUT it should be shipped within the next day or two. I was told to call Dell back tomorrow evening to get more up-to-date info.

Mine too. Shipped 1/1/0001. I hope the upgrade don't screw things up. I have an Axim that I bought in Dec. 02 with the 02 rom.

This is a scary upgrade.

Well I ordered my upgrade on 6/28/2003. Now the site is saying that it has shipped on 01/01/0001. So I called. And I was told that the item is still in production and it would be several days or weeks before it ships. "We are sorry for any confusion this may have caused.":D

So who really knows. They went on to say that they have two databases that handle all shipments and orders. Right now they have a problem between the two. Again, who really knows what the truth is.

I guess I'll wait and see.

For the lucky few of you who have already gotten the final A0x-A05 upgrade CD, is it true that there isn't really much on this CD (around 50 MB or so)? Is the final build # 13100 / 4.20.1081? I had thought that there would be new versions of stuff like PDF reader, MS reader, etc. --- sort of like a drop in replacement for the CD that we got with the Axim in the first place. Please let me know what the story is. Thanks.

Got my upgrade this morning and the order status site at the time said to expect it October 13-19. Checked a few minutes ago and it said it was shipped Septemebr 17. Seems like there's a few days lag between departments.

The Airborne truck pulled up and the guy dropped off the nice padded envelope with the CDs inside. Shipping label showed it actually shipped 9/17, Dell site said 9/15.

I had ordered this on July 2nd, if anyone's keeping track.

Now to do the upgrade...........gulp
