I can confirm this too... Airborne delivered my upgrade CD this morning too. Haven't had a chance to look at it yet, as its at home and I'm at work. Gonna have some fun during lunch time. :)

Mine just arrived, shows a ship date of 9/17 even though the Dell website show it shipping on the 15th.
On the Airborne tracking page, it show as a 2nd day Air delivery, but got it in 1.
Now the fun part, installing the upgrade and reinstalling all the software:)

I checked 2 hours ago and it still said Oct ship date, just now checked again and the website has it listed as shipping today. Gotta love Dell. Anyone having any problems with the upgrade? On the basic, does anyone notice a performance increase or decrease? Now I gotta decide if I am going to install it or wait to see if any issues are still present.....

Dell's site shows mine as shipping today (9/18) and provides an Airborne tracking number. Airborne dosen't have a record of it yet.

I ordered mine on 6/23, but it looks like orders placed after mine were shipped first. Strange way of doing business.

I just ordered an Axim for myself yesterday. Will it come with this upgrade or will I have to request it? If so is there a website or something that I can request it from? Thanks in advance.

I have the same information - shipped 1/1/0001 - and the status says 'In Production'. And I agree that the Dell site is not reliably updated - many time I receive the item and the next day or so the site finally catches up to show it had shipped.

I have overnight shipping... we will see if it shows up tomorrow.

Very nice. Backed up the ROM image first then went into update. Took about 30 minutes tops. Smoooooth.

Only drawback is that my Netgear MA701 802.11 CF card won't run under PPC 2003. Probably have to look for a new one that does.

My previous apps reloaded just fine.

I was given a copy of one that shipped out to my admin. She had bought one for her boyfriend and the upgrade was shipped to her the other day. However, now the boyfriend is a very unwanted ex. So, she gave it to me.

I have build A00, and I've tried three times now to install this thing. Why won't it go? It always hangs, saying that I can't upgrade to A05.

Received today (9/18) by Airborne. Originally ordered 7/1. Installation went quickly and easily. Reloaded all applications with no problems. Only application acting a little quirky is Pocket Facelift so I uninstalled. Will try again though. Immediate impressions are that speed is much improved.

I received my update CD from Airborne Express today as well, the ship date is 9/17 also, a lot sooner than what Dell had told me in a phone call last week. Backed up my ROM, now for the upgrade ...
