Big Smile PPC 2003 Upgrade Shipped !!!!!
Just checked at Dell. It went out at 2:45 this afternoon. It was scheduled for October 21st.

US Shipment, older PPC 2003 Axim
It's an upgrade for an Axim 2002. US shipment..........

Mine show shipping yesterday (9/15) at 1:50 pm. This is for the full upgrade from 2002-2003, not the fix for existing 2003 ppc's.
But, I never recieved the shipping email that I requested, and there's not tracking information available, so I'm sitting here trying not to jump for joy just yet.

Mine was ordered back in June when it 1st became available. They may have pulled it from the web site until they fill the all the backorders. Even back then, it was on and off several times.

Hmmmmm I ordered mine on 2 July and it still says it ain't shipping till the 7th of Oct... Wonder what gives?

Maybe what gives is just that Dell's order status system is very inefficient. I've never had it accurately quote a shipment of mine.

Mine still shows a scheduled ship date of October 17. I ordered mine June 23.

Wonder why some who ordered after me are getting their's first?

They could be getting it first just because they live closer to the distribution warehouse? Who's to say yours won't be delivered tomorrow, or Thursday?

As I stated above, Dell's order status page is very unreliable....so don't base your shipment date off of what their page says.

I hope its really unreliable because I placed my order July 1st and it's still In Production. I'm moving in December and my luck is they'll ship it and it will get lost. :(
