Yes you should be able to. I say should because I haven't tried it due to the machine on which I backed up my rom has given up the ghost! Also some of us had problems with language settings - backups were made as english (uk) but before you flash the rom it had to be change to english (us). Therefore I don't think it would re-install the back up even if my machine wasn't dead.

Anyhow - this may not apply in your situation if your settings are US anyway!

Yes you can, IF you backed up your 2002 ROM before the upgrade. It's a checkbox in the upgrade screen.

Yes, it's possible I did it last night so I could switch from a German ROM to the English one. All you have to do is use the Backup Rom tool, then when you want to go back, use Restore Rom, it worked like a charm to go from 2003 to 2002.

Yes it is possible to restore back to 2002 as long as you have made a backup when upgrading to 2003.

Where does it back up to? Is it to the internal memory (thereby taking up valuable space) or will it back up to the CF or SD?
