Question Who does Dell think they are?

I ordered my upgrade back in July. Late in August, I started getting the 2 or three emails stating that my order would get cancelled due to the product not being ready and I paid with a credit card.

I did get an email stating order was cancelled.

Now.... I look at my order status page at dell and the thing shipped yesterday.

Well, I call up the wife and its at my doorstep.

How can they legally uncancel my order?

Granted, I do want the CD, but please. That should not be very legal. I would think they would have to ask me before doing that.

I personally called Dell and cancelled my order. Ordered it in June cancelled it at the end of August When they sent me the 3rd delay notice saying i wouldn't get it until Oct. Nothing ever happened order never got cancelled, then I start getting notice that due to the delay in processing my order it would be cancelled unless I replied otherwise. I told them yeah fine cancel it again. I get a reply saying that your order will be cancelled this was just last week. Today the Disk show up on my porch..Airborne did not even knock on the door...Go figure.

I got an email not long ago telling me that if I wanted the order to be fulfilled that I had to respond to the email or the order would automatically be cancelled. I was worried about the upgrade because of things that I read, so I never responded to the email figuring that if I would just wait until I was ready to buy a new Axim to get the upgrade and simply keep using 2003. Well, the CD arrived today.

I am afraid to install it. I need some hand holding.

Terri

Dell, What's wrong with this picture

I ordered WM2003 in June. I verbally cancelled it Sep 6 on the phone (they called me). I get WM2003 Airborne Express yesterday. My Dell account says it was cancelled today.

And they better the hell not charge me for it. It's against the law to charge you for something they send you and you did not request it.

But, I will keep it. Dell really needs to wake up and smell the disfunctional lack of support that they are providing by outsourcing everything overseas.

Hmmmm? Maybe this will set them up to also be bought out by HP or Palm.

Sat by watched the posts, didn't gripe. Didn't cal Dell a bunch of names. Waited patiently. And it's arrived.
Though I am waiting to decide to install.
