upgrade OS WM2003SE
can anyone tell me, is it possible to upgrade an audiovox XV6600cdma WM2003SE into WM5.0..?

what causes, i mean does make hardware/application in it will be dissable/damage??

and if it possible can u tell me step by step how installing(upgrade/replace) the WM2003SE to WM5.0..?

Don't upgrade a functional WM2003SE device to WM5, it's not worth it. Wait until you get a new device to get WM5/6. WM2003SE is extremely stable.

If this upgrade is anything like the wm5 upgrade for the axim x50, then CodeBubba is absolutely right.

You are better off sticking with wm2003se. It can work with a lot of software still. Bear with 2003se until windows mobile 7 is out and then youll be one step ahead of everybody else who will still have wm5/6 devices.

so the point is i dont have to change the OS? is that correct, and i should kept my wm2003se...?

can i say that wm5.0 is the fail OS from microsoft..?

Yes, keep 2003se for now.

If you want a newer os, get a new device.
WM5 and 6 work fine on new devices, but are usually buggy on old devices.

You can make 2003se look as spiffy and cool as you want with wisbar. If your looking for a iphone theme there are plenty out there for wisbar.
