Ambicom and 2003 Not ready for prime time.

I've read all the posts and spent the good part of a day trying to install the ambicom CF card in my AX. The new Ambicom drivers work until I load a program called VPNremote (avaya). After this I get "Enter the name of the device driver fot this card, Yada yada yada." I use my AX in a production environment and am about to go back to 2002. Anyone?

I'm using the Ambicom WL-1100C-CF card with WM2003. I've installed the .NET drivers with great results, although the "wireless off" button is unavailable and I no longer can use the "power saver" mode on the Ambicom.

They are the latest drivers (designed for WM2003) that Ambicom has posted here. Are these not the drivers that you are using?

I've tryed the drivers that came with the card with the same results (enter card driver). I've tryed the interstil drivers and it won't even connect with the card (no green light, cannot get response from interstil icon). Each time hard reset and soft reset for each step in the process. The last thing is insert the card and perform your settings

Hmmmm,

I have no problem getting my Ambicom to work.

Try this:

remove cf card from Axim
uninstall ALL Ambicom/wireless drivers
Soft reset
Install drivers (new ones are at http://ambicom.com/support/driverdow...-CF_CE_NET.zip)

Remove pda from cradle/serial cable
soft reset
insert card

It did work for me on the second try, seems touchy. But no problems since.
