I have a machine with 2003 preinstalled and i want to install 2002. I downlaoded A00 and A01 upgrades, but the updater says: "This program can only be used to update the following Dell Axim. You can not used it with other models.", "System information" (well, it said it in spanish...) but no device is listed or anything else.

I wanna put 2002!!!!!

2003 freezes now and then!!!!

PS: I have also another machine with 2002 installed...

You can go to 2002 if you've upgraded to 2003 and saved the ROM image during the upgrade process. I don't know of a way to go back without the image.

If you are having problems with 2003, make sure you have the latest revision installed A05...

If you have a preinstalled WM2003 Axim, I don't think you can put 2002 on it. 2002 Axims are only for those who purchased an Axim with 2002 on it. For those of us who have a 2002 Axim and want to upgrade have the choice to go back to 2002 because, like I said, we already had purchased 2002.

I have WM2003 A01 Spanish.

I have not find any upgrade in Dell site, english or spanish.

I will have no problems about using WM2003 english.

BTW, can I make a backup from my other axim (2002) and restore it to this machine (2003)?
