Avantgo continuously synching
Did you know that there's a 12 per day limit on the times you can synch your Avantgo channel(s)? Well, I didn't either until I updated to WM2003.
I did not change any settings in the way my ActiveSync is setup. That is, I use a Wifi (entirely different thread on how I go the WCF12 to work!!!) and my settings for the type of connection are 'synch continuously when connnected'. That was the same as before when I had PPC2002. I noticed an unresolved item on my ActiveSync, besides the Avantgo icon. I tried to resolve it and it told me that my daily limit was exceeded. Hum?! I logged on the Avantgo site and saw that my device had been trying to synch every 10 minutes or so (the times posted on the site vary from 5 to 30 minutes apart actually but seem to average 10 mins). Nothing I can do about that it seems either. I tried all kinds of different setting in the ActiveSync Options folder, but to no avail. It still tries, every few minutes. As best as I can remember, I had the same settings as before the upgrade. Anybody experienced the same thing? | ||||

All right.. getting seriously ticked off at the stupid application for not working right, I did a hard reset and started back from scratch. Since I ahd just done my WM2003 upgrade, I didn't have much to reconfigure anyhow.
Same darn thing. Avantgo tries to synch every few minutes. Now, here are my time related settings in ActiveSynch, the same I had in PPC2002 as far as I can remember: Options/Schedule: Desktop Schedule: Continuously Server Schedule: Manually Wireless Schedule: Manually Any thoughts? For you AvantGo users, what are your settings? | ||||
