I read in an article:

"Dell then quickly removed the patch when it emerged that the upgrade would also update the Pocket PC 2002 operating system to the new version, Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PCs."

Does this really work? I have also heard that some people's axims have died after trying this?

It works very well! Some possible software incompatibility issues but very smooth for the most part.

It is illegal to upgrade from PPC2002 to WM2003, without purchasing it from Dell. Please give them a call and place an order for the WM2003 Upgrade CD if you are interested.
