I hope they package voice recognition into wm2004. The tablet pc's are coming with it. If they don't, my next portable will probably be a tablet pc.

I'm using 2003 and not intendding to get 04. When I was upgrading to 03, I had to go thorough so much trouble that I almost felt like paying another 300$ for new axim. Can't imagine what i'll have to do for 2004.
Actually, from what I've read, WM2003 ended up being a bit of a stopgap release for Microsoft. The "real" upgrade to the PocketPC platform will come with WM2004 which is supposed to be a total overhaul of the OS. With this being the case I'm not even sure if it will be possible to upgrade older devices to WM2004. I'd be more inclinded to think that it will simply herald a new generation of PocketPCs. WM2004 is due to be out sometime mid-2004.

Still, I'd like to hope that there will be some sort of an upgrade option left to us older PPC users since I think that WM2004 will probably end up being a must have for gadet freaks (like myself).

I doubt it current generation ppc's probably wont hack it in terms of processor or memory and the audio/visual side of things will probably need a fair bit of power.

That means we won't even know if we WANT to upgrade until early 05! LOL
