A little annoyed this morning.

I had my axim in a drawer last night so couldn't hear a reminder from the calendar.

I have set my Axim to auto-off on battery after 5 minutes but it didn't seem to turn off when a reminder was on screen!!! Thus this morning I had one dead battery!!!

Any way around this??

I've had that happen to me once. I think my problem might have been that there was some light pressure on the screen (it was in a backpack), so the Ax was registering a continuous tap and wouldn't release to go back to sleep.

I've had the reminder go off, which turns the Axim on, but I haven't noticed it staying on. The only time I've actually seen it go on is while sitting at work with it placed on my desk.
Check your settings, look under Sounds & Notifications -> Notifications tab, select Reminders from the pull down, you can turn off the display message on the screen, and some other settings to see how this changes things.

well consider yourself lucky it turns on, mine sometimes wont wake up on reminders. when i turn the ax on i'll see the bubble telling me about some app. 3 or 4 hours ago hah
