Hi,

I just updated my axim to windows mobile 2003. However, after
the upgrade - active sync is not running successfully! It just runs
and runs for hours without stopping declaring that 314 or so items are not synched. The wheel just turns round and round
but nothing happens. After waiting for a while, it declares that
hot sync was not successful.

I have tried to rename my axim and start with a new partnership,
uninstalled and re-installed active sync 3.7. I have also tried doing complete reset of axim. None of that is fixing the problem.
Axim works but without active sync working I can not upload any
previous data/programs into axim.

Have any of you run into this problem. Any help will be appreciated.

I was finally able to get the windows mobile 2003 to work alongwith proper activesynching.

I think that problem was installing Outlook 2002 first. In my experience, outlook 2002 has problem active synching with earlier
windows (?pocket pc 2002) and outlook 2000 has problems activesynching with windows mobile 2003.

I have always had problems with Activesync, with ppc 2003 I just have some new ones to add to the old. It makes copies of your notes, contacts etc. then next sync it will double that bunch if you are not careful. It often wants to establish a new partnership and this can only be corrected for a few syncs by deleting the original partnership and starting over.
