I have not been able to find anywhere that say magicss is or is not compatable with WM2003.
It looks like it was updated in Aug of this month so I am thinking it may be, but that is unconfirmed conjecture at this point.

Magic Screenshot works just fine with 2K3. I didn't even know there was an update..hehe..the old version works just fine, too.

I actually ended up backing up and installing while crossing my fingers a little while ago and have had no trouble.
I was going to report back that it was okay for searching and the like but you beat me to it!
