Won't power down! Help!

I just updated to wm 2003 today and after a few hair raising moments everything seems to be ok, but for one small but crippling problem.

When I press the off button, the screen goes blank (off) but the device is still on. My wifi card light keeps flashing away.

Have unchecked the display option for 'Dim/light display using power button', but that hasn't helped.

Any ideas?

I've noticed this too. Haven't figured out quite why it does this, but I think if there is an active connection it will only power down the screen. I sure wish MS would tell us about things they changed instead of discovering them ourselves and thinking they are problems...

When I'm connected wirelessly to activesync and press the power button it won't power down either.
