Can't see SD after 2003 upgrade.
Hi,

My upgraded from A03 to A05 has been smooth. But for some reasons I couldn't see my 256MB SimpleTech SD from File Explorer. In the Storage Card section only Built-in Storage was shown.

The SD Card was reported in System's Memory as having 175.72MB in use and 68.16MB free. So looks like the system did see it. But why can't I see it through File Explorer or access its files?

Do I need to reformat the SD with WM2003?

Or maybe I missed something simple?

Ehien

My cards were formated to Fat32 during ppc 2002 and I had no problems with them after my upgrade. I simply used my card reader, copy all files to my hd, then formated to fat32 and copy the files back.

I think mine was already FAT32 (but will need to check to confirm) when I used 2002.

I left the SD card in while doing the upgrade. Did this cause problem? Could it be something else?

I like WM2003 so far as my Axim seems to run faster even just moving around (will test WMP and PIE soon). SD is the only problem so far.

Cheers.

It works now. Don't know exactly what happened. Maybe contact problem or resets did help.

Thanks.
