Can i install Windows Media PLayer 9 on my Pocket PC with out updating to PPC 2003?

Axim X5 PXA 255 (400 MHz)
Pocket PC 2002 (Downgrated from 2003)
1x 512 CF card
1x SD card

possibly in the future, but right now i havent heard of being able to do that. They once had updates to a supposedly better windows media player on microsoft, but it turned out to be a downgrade. If there is the ability to upgrade to the 9 series, it would probably have to come from whoever you got your pocketpc from, such as dell.
