Strangest thing...
Greetings...

I have an X5 (pxa255-400MHz) that I upgraded to WM2003.
Now, AOL 2.0 from Handango worked just fine after the upgrade - absolutely no troubles whatsoever... I've used the AOL client for weeks but now it suddenly stopped working. I assume this is due to some sort of change with AOL's sign-on methods or something dealing with authentication... Whether I use the ActiveSync pass-thru or my wireless connection, AOL now freezes at the "Checking Password" step of the sign-on. The strange thing is that it did work briefly as early as this morning, but froze up once again when I tried to switch to another screen name.

I'm not having any trouble connecting to my network or the internet with my Linksys WCF12 card - I'm definitely connected - browsing web pages, other IM clients, etc - all work just fine - but AOL just hangs on that Checking Password step of the sign-on

My suggestion would be as always... drop AOL.

Everything works fine for me.
I upgraded last night from PPC2002 to WM2003. I just followed Dell's upgrade instructions. I reinstalled AOL for PPC2002 and it worked w/out problem. I can send email, browse web pages, send IMs. Hopefully this will continue for a good amount of time. I am on a wifi.
