Anyone have a new code? Just checked Dell's site and its going for $29.01 plus state sales tax and $8.00 shipping 3-5 days.
Of course I checked the copupon code and it expired 10/31/03.

Day late and 11.00 short now unless there is a new coupon code.

Windows Mobile is modified by each company to work on its PDA. If you have an Axim, you need to purchase from Dell.

No, there is no coupon for now. The $29 price is the original price. I ordered it last week at 2pm in the afternoon. The email order summary from Dell said expected ship date was Dec 17. But I got it before noon the next day, in less than 24 hours.

I am happy :D.

You can order from the Dell Software and Peripherals site. The update is $26.11 right now. I am pretty sure I saw that there was an additional 10% discount with it. The downside is that you have to pay $8 for shipping.

I have a Dell Axim X5 300 Mhz and it came with the Pocket PC 2003 ROM version A04 and I need the ROM version A05, does someone know how can I get it?

What Rom Version has the PPC2003 Premium Update that Dell is selling on it's web page?

That is for the PPC2003 update that Dell is selling on its website? for about $26? So that comes with ROM version A05?
One more question, that update is for PPC2002 only?, or for PPC2003 ROM version A04 also? that's the version I have and I want to update to A05.

Pocket PC 2003 is Windows Mobile 2003. They're the same thing. I bought my WM2K3 CD from Dell, which was $26 online when i had A03 running PPC 2003 wheh I bought it. When I finished updating, I went to Start, Settings, System, System Information. There, I saw A05.

rodigl--You need to contact customer service to get your update from A04 to A05. That is a different CD. They were supposed to send them automatically, but if you haven't received yours by now, you need to call. Good luck!

I had ordered the 2003 when it first came out but Dell cancelled the order. I have upgraded the rom in my x5 and don't have any troubles including using the Wi-fi card. Does 2003 really have anything in it that makes it worth 30+ bucks?
