Spent a lot of time searching, but found online location to order PPC2003 Upgrade from DELL. Cost is currently reduced to $26.11 plus shipping/tax.

Thanks for the link...Even though I have no intention of upgrading yet, I went ahead and ordered it (Really just want Outlook 2002 right now)....Of course, by the time you pay tax and shipping, it's almost $40.....

Just call them and complain that it should be complementary. I paid $29 but got free overnight shipping.

Here is a way to save some money on that upgrade:

Use the small business store, you'll want to search for dell part PPC3ENG and apply coupon code FE949ACCB112 (good until midnight 10/30 and gives you 20% off). You should get free 3-5 day shipping and just pay whatever your state sales tax is. The total for me was $25.07

Good luck to all, it only took four months to the day, from June 23 till Oct. 23 to get my upgrade CD. What a comedy of errors. Dell customer service is also a joke. Just a quick example, it took seven e-mail to get them to understand that the ship to address was my work address. I could go on and on but for the height of inepiness, Dell keeps on sending me customer service serveys that end up at one of there dead links. VERY VERY NICE WORK

I don't know (referring to the above poster)... maybe it's just karma but I ordered my upgrade CD on the 30th (yesterday) and got it on the 31st (today). It was sitting on my doorstep.

I even used that coupon code that someone posted and got the free three 3-5 day shipping and 20% discount, but it arrived next day.

Very happy here.

Yeah I agree. Very nice work. I have been checking Dell's website for this the past few months. Didnt find it until I saw your post. When it first came out, I saw the upgrade under the axim accessories page. I considered getting it, but i decided to wait. the next thing i know is they took it off the site. good thing i didnt buy it at that time tho. I was also curious, as to how you found it, because I did a search on dell's website for "windows mobile 2003" and didn't get any helpful results. All i got was links to buy axims. Just wondering how you found it. Also, I dunno if anyone checks microsoft's website often, but it has a list for all poket pc manufacturer's links to upgrade to 2003. For dell, it says "link coming soon". Very confusing.:rolling:

When I ordered my copy, I was told at first I couldn't order it, when I told the "nice" young lady at Dell the part nuber, she was shocked. She then told me I would get it around Thanksgiving!!! Well I had it within 2 days! Go figure!
