Did any Canadians get the upgrade cd?

It seems that everytime I call customer care I get a different story. When I called about a month ago, the rep said within a week the cd's would be issued. I just called today and the rep said that she only started to hear about the upgrade this week and to call back next week for an update.

I'v been going to Dell.ca every so often waiting to see if there would be an announcement about the availability. there's nothing there, at least not that I have found.

i wish they would give some information.

My Sept 17 order was cancelled by Dell along with everyone else's - but I called today and they're once again saying it's shipping.

I told the sale person 'Please don't take this the wrong way - but are you *sure* it's actually in stock - does the warehouse actually have stacks of these CDs to sell?' He replied, 'I get that question a lot.. yes, we have it in stock and it's ready to ship right now.'

So... I put in my fourth order for this product... they say it'll arrive in 8-10 days... we'll see.

I ordered the snap on keyboard yesterday and asked about 2003. The sales guy was quite blunt - 'don't ask. Its been nothing but headaches. Maybe in 3-4 weeks, maybe....'

He ended the call with 'if it ain't broke - don't mess with it.'

Ack.. sorry - no. I should have... I promise this - if the order actually arrives (and as of today, it hasn't even shipped yet according to the oh-so-accurate order checking page) I'll announce it here and post the SKU.
