i finally decided to upgrade from ppc2002 to wm2003 becuase ive been hearing alot about speeds being faster under wm2003, i really wanted full speed in gba/snes but it turns out my axim is now completely unresponsive to anything i do to it. the upgrade went smoothly untill it was almost finished and it was formatting the built in storage... it finally finished formatting and then the screen completely fadded out and nothing will turn it on again.... not even hard reset, soft reset, pressing power, or takeing out batteries etc. i got so shocked that i almost passed out... anyone ever have this problem or know the solotuion to this?

Wow, that sucks. The upgrade laged a bit for me, but didn't die. Call Dell. Have them ship you a replacement with wm2003 pre-installed.

I am having second thoughts about upgrade if and when Dell ever gets me my shipment. Any general consensus if upgrade is worth all this aggravation. I primarily want it to help in wi-fi setup and connection.

good news, i called up dell and the guy i talked to couldnt figure out how to fix my problem so he decided to send me a new axim . which is really good cause i had an old pxa250 proccessor and ppc2002 os. so ill get a new pxa 255(i think..) ehhe cant wait to play snes/gba games in full speed
