I ordered my Axim on May 22nd but I didn't get it until May 29th-- I called Dell to get the free upgrade to Windows Mobile 2003, but the representative said that since I ordered it before the 23rd, I do not certify for the upgrade-- is that true, or am I still eligible?

Logically, it should be the date of the invoice that counts. Not the order date, not the date when you received the Axim. The date of the invoice. If that's May 22nd for you, you are certainly not eligible. But if you ordered your Axim on May 22nd, probably they didn't ship the same day, so the invoice may have a later date. Check your invoice. If the invoice date is later than May 22nd, try to call Dell again.

Dell's return policy says that you can return any product within 30 days of the invoice date. This means that if your invoice date is not more than 30 days earlier than the release of WM2003 then you could have returned your PPC2002 Axim and order the WM2003 instead. I think that makes you eligible for the free upgrade.
