I need any English 2002 ROM File

Hey ALL

I'm an American living in Paris France. I purchased my AXIM in france and asked for it in English. Well Dell lost a point there. Its in French. My Axim came with ppc 2002 in french. I Bought a copy of the ppc 2003 upgrade in english. It will not let me upgrade the french copy. so I need a copy of any english rom that i will then update. Their is nothing illegal done here because I have a Dell X5 which came out only with a 2002 or 2003 OS both i Have purchased. Please anyone. If you need the software to save a rom from your device please tell me.

You can get them on the Dell website under Support, in the download section. However, I have read somewhere that you can change the language setting when updating prior to the update that will allow you to do it. I am not sure though.

I"ve been looking in Dell support and I havn't found much, I've only seen rom updates, if anyone has got anything or knows where to find it I would really appreciate it

According to this thread, http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showt...ht=english+rom , the guy towards the end said just change your regional settings....And then install the ppc 2003 update...

If that doesnt work you can try the ROM update dated in april it is 27mgs and i think it is a whole operating rom. If not email me an ftp address and i will upload my A03.ris file to you and you can use it to restore to using the WM2003 rom restore process.
