I currently have version A00 on my Axim and have the 2003 update CD ready to install, just doing some homework before I jump in...Now my question-when I upgrade to WM 2003, will it also upgrade my ROM ? If not, which should I do first, flash the updated ROM or do the 2003 upgrade ?

It will update your Rom to A05, just did mine yesterday.
Seems to run faster, just follow the directions, print them off first!
