Hi Guys
Raw newbie with only half an understanding of most things techie, here. :rolling:
I have Axim X30 with WM2003SE .It's over a year since the last posting on this thread, but I have a very similar problem, and wonder if anyone has a solution yet for the javascript thing, though I am not totally sure that mine is a javascript problem.
It is this: The main reason I bought the Axim was to be able to access the website
http://www.autotrader.co.uk , and access their used car search. That uses drop down menus for selecting 'make' and 'model', that annoyingly appear blank when browsed via IE on the pda, though the other less important 'mileage' and 'age' etc menus are populated. Someone else here said they had the same problem with the 'model' dropdown menu on another car site,
www.parkers.co.uk.
I trialed Netfront 3.2 to no avail.
In this thread KPDUTY gave a link to :
http://www.phm.lu/PocketPC/RegTweaks/Tweak.asp?ref=1 which I tried, so that the IE was tweaked to show as IE6, and still no joy.
I have also run a tweak to show script errors, with these results: when trying to choose an option under the 'make' dropdown menu, the error message is: ''microsoft jscript runtime error Line:111 Character:2 Error: Wrong number of arguments or invalid property assignment Source: (null)''
and a tap in the blank areas of the 'model' dropdown menu produces the jscript error: ''Line:100 Character:2 Error: Object doesn't support this property or method Source: (null)''
If anyone can shed an answer on this dilemma I would be extremely impressed and eternally grateful!
cheers
