Have Axim x5, PPC2003, Outlook 2002, activestink 3.7

I cannot sync Outlook to my Axim and back to my notebook. Is it that this just doesnt work? What would be nice is if I could draft emails on my Axim while in the john, and then sync them and send them from my notebook. The forums suggest that there are many problems with activestink and outlook, but basically my conclusion is that notwithstanding that MS gave us Outlook 2002 with the PPC 2003 upgrade, it basically doesnt work.

BTW the PPC 2003 upgrade was multiples of times quicker than the 2002, until i installed Outlook 2002 which slowed it somewhat.

Seems like the thing to do is install the PPC 2003 upgrade and not the Outlook 2002 (I had Outlook 2000).

I can't help you. I can't synch my inbox because I synch my Axim between two computers (work and home) so it won't let you synch either inbox! How's that for Microsoft logic? I can merge calenders, contact lists, and tasks, but not inboxes. Go figure!
