Pet Peeve Alert!

----Begin rant

If he didn't know he insulted folks, why should he apologize? People are far too thin-skinned these days. If someone says something you don't like, let them know. If you take something that was said as an insult, especially if it is obvious that insult was not intentional, that's YOUR problem.

People shouldn't have to censor everything they say to avoid the possibility of insulting ANYONE. Common courtesy is not only sufficient, it's MORE than sufficient.

End rant----

IIRC he just bought the Jornada used. And I'm pretty sure the insult to the Axim was intended. He likes to slam the ax when he can.

No need to apologize, just try to troll less. This is first and foremost and Axim site, then a PPC site.

I had a jornada once...

It was a nice, but expensive toy, not much more though. I do have one good thing to say though, HP was pretty good as far as product support goes. Beyond that it was a dead end device that was swiftly killed off by the IPAQ (a much more stylish and functional device). Good luck on that upgrade guy.
As far as the dell's quality goes, get your info straight before coming online and making a fool out of yourself.

Actually, a little under a month now. LOL. Just bought an X3i too, which shows how much I like the Pocket PC operating system over the old Palm OS (I had a Palm M100)

um, so, back to WM2003. I just used PIE for the first time with WM203 since my wireless card just came today, and if you use wireless on your PPC to any significant degree, you must get WM2003. the change from PPC2002 is mind-blowing. I absolutely could not stand to use PIE with the old OS. now with WM2003, I no longer have to wait 3 or 4 minutes just for the lousy page to load and then find out i can hardly see anything on it because it's been either mutilated by PPC2002's fit-to-page "feature" or because it's so big and sprawling that hardly anything is visible on this 3.5" tarot card.

and don't get me started on scrolling. omfg, that was probably the worst thing about PIE in PPC2002. at least if it scrolled relatively quickly and cleanly, that might make up for the crappy page composition, but as it was, it was hardly reasonable to browse for something you really needed, much less recreational surfing. iwould never show off my axim's browsing capability because it was so freaking embarrassing.
