I upgraded to WM2003 this week. Problem I am experiencing seems strange. Please tell me if you are experiencing this and how to stop it.
I leave my X5 in the cradle all day while at work. I Sync it in the morning and when I leave work. After it syncs, I turn it off. Since the upgrade, I find that something triggers an activesync session on its own. The Axim doesnt turn on, but I hear the bell tones come on from the Axim and I get a popup window on my laptop to start syncing. Then, it goes away! What is going on here? | |||||

One way to stop it is to close running programs on your Ax. Do that while the Ax is still on the cradle. You could also set AS to come on only upon manual activation.

OK. I rcvd an answer from Dell India tech support. They tell me that this is a WM2003 design. Believe it or not, this is SUPPOSED to happen, they tell me. It is different than PPC2002. Well, it sucks. I dont like it......
