Worried upgrade vs. new CD???

I have an X5 [Intel PXA255, ROM A02] running on 2002. As an owner of a company, I just purchased 2 refurbs that are running WM2003. I can see the difference between the 2 & now I'd like to upgrade. Can I use the CD that came with the refurbs or do I have to get just an upgrade????
Thanks.

Did you get a WM 2003 CD with your refurbs? That would surprise me if you did. You probably got a companion CD that had other programs on it. Check it out. I would bet that you will need to order WM 2003 (Dell calls it PPC 2003) from Dell.

You will need to order an upgrade CD. The CD that you received with the refurbs just has supplemental software for you to try. It does not have the actual upgrade on it.

**Out of curiousity, what differences have you noticed between the 2k2 and the 2k3 devices?
