Difference between the R64365 upgrade and the cd from dell .??

I upgraded my Axim to wm2003 from the R64365 upgrade that was going around the net a few months back now i see that the cd is available for purchase I want to get it but is there any difference between the cd and the upgrade that was going around.?? any info would be appriciated..

The upgrade was an illegal work around for an update from WM2003 ROM A04 to WM2003 A05, while the CD is a legal upgrade for an Axim running 2002.

it worked though, I'm also intrested in purchasing the legal upgrade. I can't live without the 2003, cause it provieds many of the speed improvments that I needed badly.

I doubt the ROM would be any different on the CD from what you have. I'm betting you would not be able to install from the CD anyway since you already have 2003.

I made a back up of my 2002 this was just a way for me to test it out in no way i want to be labeled as a pirate or anything. I am waiting to order this when i have some cash coming my way, i would go back to 2002 then upgrade from the cd.. just wanted to see if there is any major differences such as the sound bug with the rom..

Well, soon as the update cd is on sale again, I'll pick one up, since I enjoy legalness, just as a college student I don't get much cash, so hopefully I can pickup a bargin on a copy

I'm not sure there's any difference between the WM2003 and R64365.

I am also interesting on this since did upgrade by ROM
before I got the CD.

I did upgrade by CD but didn't work due to the same version.
Probably they are the same.
