msn pop3
Anyone know how to set up an Inbox account to receive msn pop3 mail? I've followed msn's instructions for 2002, but either something is not correct or my username is not in the correct format. I can receive compuserve pop3 email, but for some reason I can't get msn to work. MSN hotmail works, but you can't access attachments.
An unrelated question: every time I connect to my pc, the axim wants to establish an internet connection and the box appears requesting my username and password. Anyone know why this occurs? thanks (I'm logged on in an airport lounge using a cf ethernet card -- works great.

MSN Hotmail does not use POP3, it uses HTTP.
There is a great application that costs less than $10.00: Adrian Software HTTPMail (Can't remember the link, but just search for the above) I use it daily with multiple MSN accounts in addition to standard POP3 accounts. . . It fully supports HTML mail and attachments. Good Luck . . .

Sorry I wasn't clear, this HTTPmail is not a separage application, but rather an extension of INBOX.
So INBOX is used and HTTPmail is selected as the protocol in INBOX. Once you download it . . . it will be clear:
