Linksys has a beta WM2003 driver here:
ftp://ftp.linksys.com/beta/SW_CD_Beta081903PPC2003.zip The Billington GPS is odd - that should work just as is... It's SIRf based and should just show up as a serial port. Your GPS software should be able to seek it out. Sorry... Jeff

I'm using a GlobalSat CF GPS I picked up at Semson's, but any SiRF standard GPS would work. CircuitCity carries AmbiCom's GPS which should work.
However, I've checked at the Billionton site and their GPS is definitely SiRF based and so should work. Try this utility... http://www.peregrine.com.my/tech/GPSInfo.zip and see if it can see the GPS. You might also want to make sure nothing else is tying up the port for the GPS.

thanks for the info. I think you might be on the right track with the port being in use. The Billinton gps uses com 5. Sometimes it starts and then hangs. When I go to restart it I get an error message port in use. How do I check if another program is using the port and shut it down?
Thank you for your help.
