If your camera has a way to tie it into a computer, then all you have to do is connect the computer to a Wireless Routor, then get a WiFi card for your AX, then download and use Microsoft Portait, it's a free download, search with Google.

I have a D-Link Wireless Web Camera in the pipeline (ordered, but not yet shipped - this has been the worse Christmas season for not receiving orders/Christmas presents in time!!!). I want to use it for keeping an eye on my outer office area (so I can see who's coming).

I had not thought of using my Axim, but that seems like a great idea to display the cam shots! This will be a fun experiment.

Any suggestions of what I might want to get to augment viewing the webcam on my Axim are welcome...... Oh, I already have a wireless CF card (two, in fact).

Most live streams from web cams are viewable via a java applet in a browser. PocketIE has no java virtual machine and I've had no luck finding a free jvm to run in pIE on WM2003. If anyone has sussed one out let me know

It would be possible to do this with WMEncoder9. See the Streaming TV guide on my site, if you can live with the 5 sec. delay for the encoding to take place...The delay might not be real good for video surveillance, but you might want to check it out...

I've used tonnes of webcam software that uploads video Or images to a website, one small free app is Pryme, try using that and viewing the webcam either via a stream or posted pics.
