WMV's are mute

On my x3i I have several WMVs that are silent on my PDA, but have sound on my PC (XP Pro w/WM9). The video portion plays fine. Is there a new codec I need to install to get sound from my WMVs on my X3i? Thanks

volume

This is probably a stupid responce. But the WMA has a seperate volume control from the system volume control. Both have to be on. This happens to me all the time where the system volume gets turned off.

just curious, are they .asf files. Those are considered windows media video files thats y I'm asking because I had the same problem with not being able to get sound. Still no idea, which is sad, it seemed nice that i would have been able to record video then move the sd card directly to my axim.
