Need Help - Forgot manuals at school

Hey guys, I have a few questions. I upgraded to WM2003 awhile back and I thought that my contacts from wm2002 would be recognized on WM2003, but apparently not. The problem is when I was doing this I had a lot of school work to do and I put it off. So now I need some help. I had backed up all of my files onto my cf card, but I'm afraid if I "restore" its going to try to bring it back to WM2002. Also, if I want it to sync w/ my computer don't I have to take off Outlook? Also would it matter if I have Office 2003?

I have a feeling I'm forgetting something right now, but I can't remember. I'm positive I brought my WM2003 upgrade cd with me.

Thanks in advance!

But how do I get my old contacts? If I "restore" it will it try to convert it back to WM2002?

Restore will not revert the Ax back to 2002. As it sounds like you discovered, your backup will not work on 2003. However, if your contacts are on Outlook, you can get them back by syncing your Axim. You should not need to remove Outlook to sync. In fact, you need Outlook to sync your contacts. Office 2003 should not make any difference, I would guess. If Outlook 2003 doesn't work, just put Outlook 2002 back on.

During the upgrade process you should have done a sync before you started the update to 2003. If you did then when you get done with the update you should have been able to do a sync and it would have copyied all the contacts back. None of the old programs will work in the restore mode as far as I know. good luck.
